So currently i've been reading head-fi trying to find the best pair of IEM's for me.
I'm currently struggling to make a decision....
IEM's i've owned (in no particular order):
-Sony EX85
-Sony EX90 (Modded)
-Sony EX500
-Super Fi. 5EB
-Atrio M5's V1
All of them broke, with the exception of the Super Fi's which IMO sounded horffic!
Out of them all, the Modded EX90 and M5's were my favorite headphones.
I'm currently using the EX82 which came with my A829 but looking for a EX90/M5 but with crystal clear highs.
My maximum budget is around £130, and i've looked at:
-Victor FX500
-Phillips SE9000
-Klipsch Image / Custom 3
-Denon C751
I want a pair of headphones that won't break, have really solid connections at the jack (All of my headphones have broke because of crappy connections at jacks), good wiring and solid construction.
I like a headphone with the ability to really thump home the bass, but give a very clear, detailed high end and smooth overall soundstage.
Any suggestions for a now insane man?
