Well I officially lost my super fi 3 studio headphones. Of course when I really want them as I have long plane ride coming up and like to sleep with them while I travel.

Anyone have suggestions as a cheap alternative. I really never used them for music at all given the inferior sound quality to my other phones.

So anyone have a really cheap in ear headphones for talk radio only?

Thanks

Well, first off define "cheap."

Also, don't choose the Shure E2C if you plan on keeping them long-term; major cable problems reported everywhere on Head-Fi.

It occurred to me that the copper in the wire has a nasty habit of oxidizing. Guess that gives appreciation to the term oxygen free copper.

Cheap as in cheaper then the super fi 3 studio's.

They were what 100bucks. Talk radio doesn't require HQ to say the least. Good noise cancellation is all that matters. I really liked the super fi's foam ends.

JVC Marshmallows will run around $20. They are OK, but not as good as KSC75's. If you are looking for isolation on the cheap, I think they are the best way to go.
