There is speculation that the ATH-L3000 is due out soon (21st October). The only thing that seems to be known about it is that Connoly Leather is being used for the earpads and that it is a closed design. There is no mention of wood, although the terse release was apparently made referring to the history of the W series.


Expected price is double that of the W2002. Get saving, gents.


At this rate, if A-T stays in business for 40 more years we can expect the then limited edition headphones to be the GDP of a small nation.

That reminds me, I almost knocked myself out once walking into the Connoly Leather shop's door, which they keep locked. It's hard to regain your composure as a confident shopper after you slam into a door...
