Just as long as it waits until the wind changes direction. Today the wind could carry ash towards my location. They say tomorrow it could blow the other way.
I remember the last time she blew big time. I hope this time isn't as big, maybe more like the last few little burps. It doesn't sound like it will be a big one. Then again, who can know for sure.

"Early tests of gas samples collected above the volcano by helicopter Monday"

What the heck type of job is that? That sounds like my worst nightmare considering I've got a fear of flying and hot molten lava.

"What do you do?"

"I fly over volcanoes that are about to erupt in my helicopter"

I certainly don't envy that job

Heh, first the Gulf gets four hurricanes in a season, now we get a volcano?!

All those political attack ads must have angered the gods

They've said it will probably erupt but it won't be anything like what happened in the 80s.

Then again it is a volcano...

One of my earliest memories was having my mom put a dust mask over my mouth and rushing me inside sometime during the day (but it was really dark). While the spectacle would be amazing to see, I'm not sure I'm looking forward to a bunch of ash being shot into the air.

Not working.

Well, looks like nothing but a bunch of ash for now. Hey, that stuff reached 17,000 feet I heard.
