Well I just closed a deal with the seller on Audiogon for a pair of Harbeth Monitor 30.

I hope its an upgrade over my VR1...it better be

Any warnings, advise? I will be driving them with the same electronics I have in my sig.

Congrats! Those are some awesome speakers. Definitely let us know how you like them and maybe post some pics.

Congrats and welcome to the club! They are, indeed, awesome...

Advise? - They like heavy stands.

Warning? - They are super transparent, if something sounds wrong check upstream gears.
- Be careful with your wallet, they love killer amps and sources.

no worry on the stands, got the Solidsteel triangle looking ones. looks pretty solid on the picture

Advice - use them as surrounds and get the 40s.

Excellent speaker/monitors. Just wish they were a little more aesthetically pleasing, though.
