Looking to upgrade from ATH-ES7s

hey guys my audio technica ath-es7s left earphone recently started to stop working and i thought rather than paying to get them fixed i thought it was time to upgrade..
i had my ES7s for 2 years and i love them, but time to move on
 
im looking for something maybe similar, but of course something that delivers awesome quality
anything under $200, what do u guys recommend?? just throw some out there, thanks!

If I remember correctly, they had a similar sound like Grado
 
Grado Sr225i would be good if you want to go open and on ear like they were. (Open for Grado)
 
Next choice is Sony MDR-7509HD $200
 
About the best you can get at the $200
 
Also, HD598 if you want to go over board. Same sound structure (hopefully) and open. Call up J&R for $180 shipped

The bass on the HD 598 are quite different from the ES7. If you like the fun sound of the ES7 you might be a bit disappointed with the HD 598.
 
Have you considered some Ultrasones? The DJ1 seems quite good, and it's within your price range.
