My beautiful k167s headband snapped and I'm looking for some over ear headphones to replace them. I can't spend more than $250aud. I'd like them to have a wide range. I'd rather a flat frequency response but if anything the mids could be slightly recessed and highs slightly emphasized.
I'd prefer closed design but I'll consider open design too. I'm willing to try any brand, apart from beats of course (which I have also heard). I've also own Sennheiser hd448s which I'm pretty happy with, the AKGs were obviously an upgrade but these still sound great. I've always thought they had nicer highs. The AKGs were much more comfortable however, much more cushion to em. I also liked the coiled cable.
Any ideas? Thanks in advanced!
