Thanks Jude... I wanted to reply in the "Sorry for today's outage" thread, but it's closed. It's not the big outages you guys know about and deal with, but the numerous little ones lately (that just cause a "page not found" message for a few minutes, and sometimes the loss of a post). The board seems to be slowing again to pre-software-upgrade levels. Really looking forward to the hardware upgrade, and much appreciated.

Oh, I know about all of those. We get database error e-mails, and it's either me or Neil fixing them. Until the move is completed, I'm thinking of turning off the search whenever I know I won't be around an online computer for an extended period.

It's Murphy's Law: when I'm around a computer all day, and more apt to check Head-Fi regularly, everything runs fine, even with search on, and without need of my intervention. Of course, it's when I can't use my computer for extended periods that everything starts acting up. Anyway, after the move, everything should run much smoother, with far less human monitoring than I'm doing now.

Thank God, you have a child to look after and that's a lot more important!

Excellent... looking forward to the subscriptions as well, with (hopefully) the option for a bigger PM box. I'd certainly be among the first to sign up

I may be here more often after the move to better hardware. I tend to not stay here like I used to. I get tired of slow page loads and the page not found errors, so I go do something else, usually.

Hmm... so when search function is disabled, that means Jude is not in his office/home. Let's go guys, this is a good time to raid his place!
