- high resolution
- well responding to EQ's
- durable (I want them to last)
- non proprietary cables (fitting standard MMCX or 2 pin cables, not recessed or similar - I want to be able to swap cables without having to select only a few specific ones)
- the nozzle should not be too wide (not as wide as a Blessing 2's etc.)
- less than 1k USD

Do you think of anything fitting these criteria? Would be great. I currently use S12's, Olina's as well as MeeAudio Pinacle's.

Thanks a lot in advance!

1. most 1k iems should resolve pretty well imo
2. I'm not too well-versed on EQ, so i can't comment on this
3. most iems should be durable; as well as you don't abuse them.
4,5. sure, that should be easy to find

my questions to you are:
what genres do you currently listen to/ what do you listen for in music?
I currently use S12's, Olina's as well as MeeAudio Pinacle's.
among those iems, which ones do you use the most?
what about that iem do you like/dislike?

Thanks for your reply. I tend to use the S12 most, as it seems to be the most resolving. I listen mainly to pop/rock/rnb. I mainly want to have a very resolving IEM that works well with those genres. Thank you in advance!

Are you looking for something that is extremely resolving, and fine with sacrificing some tuning quirks here and there?
How do you find the mids on the S12? (Personally i found them slightly recessed, might be due to the hump in the bass)

Yes, highly resolving would be great :) Bases on frequency response graphs I expected mids go be more recessed, but I find them actually quite OK :)
