I am looking for a tube amp with a dac or tube amp and dac combo for my pc. I cant seem to find very many out there and could use some sugestions. Will be using this with iem's and headphones of all sorts. nothing too taxing at this time, but I really want to try tube amps. I have been strictly solid state since I entered this hoby 20 years ago or so.
Tube amps that will work with iem's? There are a lot of amps that have tube pre amp sections that will have ss amp sections that can work with iem's. The only all tube headphone amp that I can think of is the microzotl...good choice. Pick a good dac with whatever budget you might have left.
I guess i should say i need it fairly compact. No larger than a little dot 2. Hybrid amps are fine and ideally amp with dac built in would be ideal like the firefly or ef2c. I was looking at the glow amp that comes with a dac, but not a lot around about that. This will be my introduction to tubes, so ideally a good sou d without spending a ton of money as i am not sure if i will love it.

Sorry, I gave you the name of the best tube amp that I know of that will play IEM's and full size headphones. Your welcome for the advice. If your willing to put a minuscule of effort into finding a used sex, I'm sure you will be satisfied. You can also buy a new sex already built.
