Hi all,

I plan on testing a few bluetooth recievers that I can clip on for my IEM. Right now I have the nobel audio BTS and have the AK XB10 on order.... but I'm looking for more options on both sides of the spectrum. If I find anything interesting I plan on writing a review. Anyway, let me to which ones I should try out!

I've got the AT-PHA50BT and its quite good.  Although it has a bigger noise floor than the BTS, it also bigger sound stage and more reliable connectivity.  To be honest, the best soundstage and noise floor combination that I've heard is the [now vintage] Sony SBH50.  It lacks aptX but in my opinion both of the former receivers sound better streaming AAC than aptX anyway, so I don't consider this a drawback.  The only reason I've moved on is that the SBH50 emits a loud beep whenever it pairs.  This is a constant volume beep so it may not be as big of an issue with full-size cans.
