I was a big fan of Cowon back in the days, i bought a cowon D2 in 2006 and i'm still using it. The battery is incredible and the quality of sound is still one the best on portable devices.
 
 
- 1st issue : I think cowon should stop invest into their ****ty UX and accept ipod browsing system (1 wheel with 5 buttons) is the best. And i tried some mp3 players not from apple brand which are integrating it : FiiO X1 for instance.
- 2nd issue : it's cool to listen to high quality stuff with earplugs or headphones... but in parties or at home its pretty useful to stream some stuff directly to the audio system. Unfortunately, seems Cowon don't make any collaboration or breaking through on this topic. Would have been great to offer a little bit of connectivy even "low-def", its just convenient when your host don't have jack just AirPlay or Chromecast station.
 
Any idea of a device that addreses those 2 issues and still aligned with D2 requirements (good quality output / battery) ?
