Looking for some headphones that will stay in my ears while jogging

Jun 14, 2007 at 10:05 AM Post #16 of 25
Tried the ksc75s, DON'T like them. First off, academicsuperstore.cm is a rip off. I cancelled my order because it was going to take like 3 weeks cause of a back order. They said I'd get free shipping, but charged me for shipping anyway. When I checked a week later, I still haven't been credited back for my cancel. The guy on the phone said it'd be done in a day, so I guess watch yourself shopping there.
For the headphones, I don't think the sound is all that good and they still fall off

I have to turn them up pretty loud to hear them well because they sit off my ear so much. I guess I'll have to find someone to give these to and try the Sennheisers

so you guys using the shures dont have the problem of hearing your feet hit the ground? What I'd rather do is get one good set to use all the time, if not I'll just get either the sennheisers or the koss clipons yall are talking about.

Nope, I don't hear my feet hitting the ground using Shure's.

Got my sennheisers and just used them today. I love them! The sound isn't amazing, but I'm sure that's because they more or less face forward away from the inside of your ear. They don't move a single bit, and they are MUCH lighter than the koss's. I've found my new jogging phones, thanks a ton people

Yea, I actually had them shipped to my Mom's address because I was about to be outta school, and when I got home 3 weeks later... they still hadn't been shipped. I emailed them and got a shipping notice the next day!! They're certainly not on top of things, but I think they're "somewhat" honest.

You do realize that you can adjust the metal inside the KSC's clips, right?? Also, try the headband mod (use KSC-fitted headband from $5 Durabrand radio from walmart) before you give 'em away.

I tried bending that metal clip a few different ways. Maybe my ears are just shaped ****ed up or something. Not to mention they felt pretty heavy for jogging with. Do you have any illustrations of this mod you speak of?
BTW, I STILL haven't gotten my credit back for canceling my order at academic super store!@?????#

Well, if they don't clip to your lobes, then yes they'll slip off. Try turning each side upside down and clipping it to the top of your ears (looks goofy, but clipping to the upper part of the ear should actually work on ALL ears, whereas default clipons will only work for people with ear lobes). But that's silly to me, soo....

I wouldn't worry as long as you can be patient. They're not that efficient, but they're effective.

G'luck!

This is why I'm not a fan of IEMs. Not only do they not feel comfortable, but they block ALL noise, which isn't a good thing when it comes to exercising.
