looking for some advice on some headphones

and of course everyone else is right?

i just joined the site and just looking thru alot of the past posts and so forth everyone here seems knowledgeable enough to let me know whats up.

alright so im looking into getting some headphones that i can use with my ipod, gaming and some recording (i like to think im doing my own aphex twin dj shadow mashup sometimes

) so far ive looked into two brands. the Sennheiser HD-555 and the Equatiom R21's(never heard of them until just now...they are really impressive review wise). just wondering if either of these will suit my needs or is there something else that you would like to reccomend? im looking to spend 100 to 200 on them the farthest i could go would be 250 but that may just be pushing it.

any help would be great.

Any would do for your application and price range. Do some searching on each and try to figure out which sound signature might be most to your preference.
