In the past I owned HD-600, HD-650's, AH-D2000's as well as a FiO amp and another one which I can't remember the name, but had a tube preamp section. I went back to school, needed money sold all my equipment and started using Iphone in ear's for the last 5 years. 
 
My gf bought an apple laptop recently and they gave us the option  (back to school) to get Beats solo 2 wired for free or beats solo2 wireless for $100. I was foaming in the mouth for anything better than an iphone headset so I grabbed the wireless ones. Yes they suck...but I started to crave good music really bad. I enjoy being wireless though. 
 
So I start looking around for better wireless headphones and see the Beoplay H8 and Sennheiser M2. I went and tried the H8's, they sounded really good but just like beats, they were a bit too small for my head. So I went and ordered the M2's, the issue is I wanted the Over ear ones, but those were out of stock, so I ordered the on-ear ones. They sound good with a cable, the size is also better than both H8 and beats but bluetooth is problematic. I saw multiple people with the same problem, which is probably why Over ear ones are not in stock anywhere...more than likely same issue. So these guys are going back. 
 
Now all that story aside, what are my options. Budget is about $400-$500, I'd rather not amp and be wireless, but my most favorite headphones ever my AH-D2000's so if they magically appeared in front of me for $250, I'd say to hell with wireless and microphone
