I`ve been away from this site for a while, but now I`m looking to get a new pair of headphones for my potable cd-player which is a "Sony D-EJ 955"

Price range should be about 35-40 US$.

I`m not THAT picky since the pair that I use now are rather old and well not state of the art...they don`t even have labels on them so :-)

Mostly I listen to guitar , piano as in terms of instruments.

OPS..forgot to mention that the should be closed..I listen to music at a loud volume usually so I don`t want to bother other people.
(thanks for the recommendation though)

HD201 or AKG K26P. The K26P is more aggressive sounding. Both are closed and sound great for the price.

Another vote for the Senn's HD201. The KSC75's kind of leak sound a little, and are very hard to hear in loud environments. But either way, you'd be saving $20, as they are each $20, so why don't you get both?
