Looking for Over Ear Headphones

I'm looking for some over ear headphones my price range is $250 to $400. I own the Bose AE2 Over Ear headphones and I was really happy with them. They lasted me almost 2 years but then the cord broke so I think its time for an upgrade. I'm no expert so I'm unsure whats worth the money I'm willing to pay. I wouldn't mind wireless headphones but then how badly is the audio quality effected? I was looking at the Sony MDR-1R Bluetooth MK2 Headphones but I'm not sure whether they are worth the $400. Any recommendations for wireless or wired over ear headphones will really help me out as I want to get the best quality product for my money.
