So, I'm looking for a new pair of on-ear headphones for my portables (iPhone, 3DS, etc) with a budget of about $150, give or take. I previously had the Beyerdynamic DTX 350p which I loved but the headband broke apart. I've been looking for something with a similar sound, something neutral/natural and with nice, strong bass that is built much sturdier than the 350p. Any recommendations?

Don't have a recommendation for you, except that you might want to correct the type in the heading of your thread.

You could probably get away with a momentum on ear for under $100. Or find an Amperior on clearance since its been discontinued

I actually owned a pair of the momentum on-ear for about a day last year. I really dislike the V-shaped sound, there's just too much missing for me.

If you could go up on your budget by like $50 or so, the Sennheiser Urbanite are a great choice. The Momentums are built a little rigid for some people, but the Urbanite has great build quality and comfort, with no compromises on sound.

Alright the the Vmoda m80 are pretty cheap now and built like a tank

Alright, looking into those and the Creative Aurvana Live 2 as well at the moment.

I'm actually in the process of returning a pair of the Urbanite on ears >.>

I liked them quite a bit more than the momentums but they were still far too v-shaped for me. Some songs sounded fine with them but most felt like they were missing something or were heavily veiled.
