Looking for MidRange Open Backs for Mobile Use

Hey guys! I'm in the market for a pair of open back onEars. I've owned and enjoyed a SennGrado and Allessandro MS1i in the past, my only issue with both where the pads
 
At present, I use and LOVE the sound of my Senn HD 25-1 II, but I'm finding that my wife can't speak to me when I'm wearing them, so I'm looking for something with a darker sound, something dry and something VERY sensitive, Ideally I'll b powering them out of my little newNintendo 3DS
