Hello.

I am looking for good IE-Earphones and I have these criteria:
- MAX USD 150
- Good sound quality (I listen to classic music a lot, but I like a bit of everything)
- comfortable
- good looking
- not easily breakable
- mostly for everyday use (public transport, walks, etc.) so with a good otside noise reduction

Based on this criteria I was suggested to buy Westone 1 True-Fit Earphone | Westone

Is it a good option? Why/why not?

Thank you for any opinion.

I'm just going to say it so that 100 others don't have to.

The RE0 (head-direct.com or from ebay)

Why: According to a lot of audiophiles here they are the crank for the crook.
Why not: No reason, even for the unreasonable.

I have no experience with the RE0 what so ever, but after reading a lot of posts after I bought the Eterna made me doubt if I really made the right choice.. Damn you all~!

For classical music I would say RE0s or Etymotic Hf5. Both can be had for circa $100.

- MAX USD 150
- Good sound quality (I listen to classic music a lot, but I like a bit of everything) ✓ Both the RE0 and Hf5 have excellent clarity. Neither of them are particularly bass heavy, which sounds suitable for classical listening.
- comfortable ✓ There are plenty of tips available for both earphones
- good looking ✓ The small tube shape of the Hf5 is very sleek, and the metallic housing of the RE0 is gorgeous. Photos do an injustice to the RE0. In the flesh, they are very nice.
- not easily breakable ✓ All you earphones should be treated with care, but I've heard good things about both Head-Direct and Etymotic customer care.
- mostly for everyday use (public transport, walks, etc.) so with a good otside noise reduction ✓ Particularly the Hf5 has very high isolation with its triple-flange tips.
