Heya! A buddy of mine and I got on the subject of headphones, and I realized something:
The ones I have suck. Horribly.
I've been using these lovely little Walgreens find from one late night when my old, but similar pair died. You see, I can't live for a day without music, and so getting a new pair was vital. Yes, these.
In all honesty, I've become quite.. accustomed to such quality as I can't afford much. But I definitely want something more out of my beloved music D:. So, I think /any/ suggestion would sound worlds better than what I've got now.
So! Friend mentioned above said I should register here and ask!
Here's my challenge for anyone willing to help a girl out with her headphone dilemma:
I want decent to good sound quality.
I love nice bass and good clarity overall.
I prefer the comfort of in-ear buds, but only those with a headband. I cannot STAND ear-clips and simple buds, they drive me nuts. The clips wore my ears raw and the buds are always falling out.
I listen to most kinds of music, but the things I listen to most often include Metal (In Flames and Atreyu, for example), Industrial (Aesthetic Perfection), Dance/Rave/etc (mmm Dougal & Gammer anyone?), Punk Rock, and.. whatever category the wonderful Bjork falls under :] Other examples of what I listen to include Plain White T's, Mindless Self Indulgence, Nine Inch Nails, Daft Punk and Garbage.
Unfortunately, while I want nicer headphones, I want to stay as close to $20 bucks as possible. I might push to $30, but only if there isn't /anything/ nicer than what I've got available.
Also, I want as little outside sound getting in as possible. That's why I'm using the ones I have now. They fit nicely into my ears and keep other noise out. I also want headphones that are going to be loud.
If it matters as far as the headphones go, I use a Creative Zen Micro 6 gig.
Also, haha, I honestly don't care if the headphones look good or not ^ ^ Just looking for quality and comfort here.
