I won't have money to buy anything for at least a few weeks, but I'd like to start researching some headphones if you guys have suggestions

I am looking for a good looking closed portable headphone with ZERO sound leakage. Sound quality is important, but I've already got my LA7000 desktop rig so I want to put more emphasis on portability and looks. I will be using them in two places:
1) a quiet, work-only computer lab with people sitting literally 2-3 feet away from me.
2) my room, where my roommate sleeps in a bed 2-3 feet away from my desk

Please note that I listen to a lot of embarrassing and high pitched jpop, so it'd be nice not to bother them!

I'm currently considering ESW9s, but I am a little worried about their isolation. I will be using them in a library-ish setting so I don't need to block outside sound, but I DO need to prevent sound from leaking out, because it is a quiet work environment. I've heard that ESW9s don't leak much sound out, but will they be good enough to hide my loud and shrill jpop music???

Impossible for Zero leakage. Anyway, headphones that do not leak much sound at all would usually be painful to wear, correct? My ALO-780 clamp a bit but do not leak much

. Why not just get some good IEMs like SE530 or UM3X?

I've tried IEMs and honestly I just don't want to deal with them anymore, something about them is just uncomfortable to me. I like full-size cans and from my experience the sound and looks are both better suited for my tastes

The Sennheiser HD25 Mark IIs do a sterling job! They aren't painful at all to wear either. They're designed for isolation and for comfort too.

I can listen to mine in the library fine without either of the buds in the cubicles next to me thumping me from behind

I once got a hand on over an professional pilot-headset Telcom TC-90. It has a gel pads and -27dB sound protection. They sounded weird - like covering ears with hands.

Seriously - the HD25 is a good choice.

Ya I think you're only shot at zero leakage would be from an IEM. You can get some full size headphones that will come very close to no leakage from the pads around the cups. But if you crank your music up at all, it's going to leak through the back of the cup. They just aren't build to completely block out the sound if your music is loud. Now if you're going to listen to music at low volumes there are some great choices out there.

x2 on the HD 25 I II...but I find the Shures do a great job of preventing sound leakage...but I don't know about wearing them hours on end though...
