hi everyone,

purchased my beyers so time ago and am mightily pleased with then when listening to aphex twin and other bass heavy electronic music. but from time to time i enjoy listening to a bit of classical music or vocally prominent music as well, and i feel like i'm not getting everything out of that stradivarius or those strong female vocalists

so... where should i look to add a third headphone to my collection? so far i've been toying with the idea of buying a AD700, but i'd like to make sure before splashing another €100.

# opposite of DT770
# open cans
# classical, ambient, vocals
# indoor use
# max €200
# laptop/vinyl+e7+e9 setup

i own the px200-ii for outdoor use, the beyer DT770 for indoor, but now i want something to put away the beyer when i put on some beethoven, some verdi, or some brian eno

thanks guys

thanks for the recommendations, but i'm actually looking to stay away from akg. my dad swears by them and i've never felt comfortable listening to one of those. sorry, but keep suggesting!
