i need help. i'm traveling to asia in feb and i am dreading the 14 hour flight unless i find suitable headphones for me and my wife. with that being said, here are the criteria that i'd like to meet as best as possible:
1. devices that i will be using: ipod, portable dvd player, laptop
2. planning on using a portable headphone amp (perhaps the headroom total bithead)
3. i would prefer not to get any in-ears. i own a pair of shure ec-2's for 3 years now. it gets more and more uncomfortable and annoying everytime i have to put them in my ears. i know there are some really great in-ears but i just prefer not to stick anything in my ears

4. COMFORTABILITY - lightweight, supple/soft earpads, headband shouldn't sit uncomfortably on the head. my standard for comfortability would be (please don't kill me!

) the BOSE Triports or QC's
5. NOISE ISOLATION - decently reduce airplane engine noise/drone, people talking, babies crying, etc...
6. SOUND REPRODUCTION - i like a lot of bass but i prefer to be able to change the EQ settings on my ipod depending on what genre of music i'm listening to. my standard for sound reproduction would be the beyerdynamic dt-770's.

comfortability would be my #1 priority. any helpful suggestions would be perfection
