Looking for good gaming/movie headphones.

Well I'm looking for a pair of headphones that are great for gaming and movies.

I'm a noob at this but I've relised that quality comes at a price (what dosent?) and I'm willing to spend a few extra dollars for higher quality. I'm willing to spend $150 - $175 (I won't go higher then $200).

These phones will be for gaming and movies (Music too but I'm guessing if they are good for gaming and movies music will be great) so I'd like some sort of surround feel. I'll be using an Audigy 2 sound card with these until I get my X-Fi Platnium with my new PC.

Any help you guys can give me would be great!

I mainly just chose those 'phones based on bass and fun-factor. They probably aren't what you are looking for though. Or maybe they are...

For the price range that you're willing to spend I'd also recommend the DT770. Also you should consider the AT-A900 as they will also fit your gaming and movie needs. Both cans provides excellent detail, soundstage, and bass. Both cans are also very comfortable.

Well since I'm sorta a noob about this I'm not really sure what I'm lookign for.

I guess I'd say a pair of headphones that sound great for gaming. They will be replacing my 5.1 speakers so I would like to have the surround feel for FPS's. I've gotten used to hearing peoples foot steps comming up behind me.

I guess (after searching and reading reviews) I'm going to go with the HD595's. Altho I'm still open for suggestions.
