Hi everyone, i'm new to this forum (although i've been scouring it for a long time!) and after LOTS of searching i've ended up here. Since you guys are so helpful i was hoping you could help me with my decision to buy new headphones. I'm looking for:
- Under $300
- Comfortable! My main preference
Mainly for plugging into my computer (I have a MSI Z87-G45 Motherboard which appears to have a good built-in amp - http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z87-G45-GAMING.html#overview).
I listen to a variety of music from rock to hip-hop to pop, but i do like to listen loud quite often
I currently own a pair of Samson SR850's and am mainly concerned by two things:
- The clamp putting pressure on my ears (i have a pretty big head),
- and highs that are too-bright
Currently i'm being led towards the Audio Technica AD900X (which i'm a big fan of so far), or the Sennheiser HD-598, but really i'm up for any suggestions.
Also Beyerdynamic appear to be having a sale on Amazon and so any that you recommend over the above will be highly considered!
