I would prefer full size headphones. I currently have 3 candidates and these are the HD595, HD555 and the Sennheiser RS 130. My budget is $250 max but the cheaper the better. I would greatly appreciate your input and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

The 595 and 555 are the same phone, comfort-wise. I've owned the latter and the AD700, and the AD700 wins on comfort (as well as on SQ).

Hi Oggranak. Yes I considered the K601 but its not available in headroom.com and its way overpriced in ttvj.com. I have problems with other sites not accepting international credit cards or not shipping internationally. Same with the Denon D1001, not available.

Headroom sells the D1001, do they not ship it to where you are?

You can get the dt880 in a 32ohm if you want something easier to drive. They are 269 through headroom.

I did a quick search and it didnt come out the first time I tried it, thanks for the heads-up. Unfortunately, based on the pics it looks like the D1001 uses a leather pad instead of velour.

Well, I don't think it's leather, but whatever they're made of, the comfort is undeniable.
