Looking for Closed Headphones

Well, I did use terms like "supposed to" and "I hear"; the only comment where I didn't use these terms was the vice grip, which is based on several comments that I've read over the months. Yes, I have not worn the HD280s, but I thought it was common knowledge that they have a kind of vice grip compared to other headphones?

In my opnion the A500 would be a fantastic chioce for you. I found the HD 280 a little boring and un involving but the A500 sounded more lively, I just think that they are for gaming. Plus you'll be saving some money, you could use the extre 50 for a game or something.

If only the A500s were a bit smaller

Anyway thanks for the pictures Azure, the HD 280s are circumaural right?
As of now it's between the HD 280, the A500, and PC 150 so forgot the things I said about the beyers.
Does the sound leak in the PC150s? (are they closed?)
I'm gonna research some more, i'llt ell you what my final decision will be later.

I've never heard the A500, but I own both the 280 Pro and the A900. The 280 Pro isolates better and is more tonally "flat" or accurate, like a studio monitor headphone, and the A900 is more comfy, gives more soundstage information and is generally more fun IMO.
