Currently using a set of Takstar HI 2050's hooked to an O2 amp using my internal sound card but will be installing an O-dac to my amp soon.  I love the Takstars, the soundstage and comfort are awesome and would like something like them but a step up in quality.  Mostly play FPS's so need something that has that big soundstage. Currently looking at ATH-AD900x and Sennhieser HD-598 looking for other suggestions of thoes types and prices that will work well with my setups.

Thanks

I would take the AD900X, over the HD598.

A Senn HD558, with the black rubber tape removed from inside the cups, will give you something very close to the HD598.
The HD558 and HD598 use the same 50-Ohm driver.

The HI 2050's were my first. In your shoes, I'd stretch my budget a little and go for the AKG K7XX (sold brand new through Massdrop on occasion). Might be able to find them used within budget. Look around. They are comfortable and will give you soundstage width and then some. Great value step up.

Ya I was looking at those.  Don't know if im ready to step up to that price though.......Although its not that big of a jump.....but then if im willing to go there its not much of a jump again to go to something like the HiFiman 400s's.  **** these are the problems with headphones.

Yeah the k7xx is a great option with an upgrade in soundstage for sure, an hd598 probably won't provide a great sound upgrade. A second hand k702/q701 can be found for pretty cheap if you look around enough, I got second pair, second hand for $80
