Setup will be a pc>modi3>magni/lepai 2020A+ speaker amp.

The advice im looking for is what can i use to divide aux out of modi3 to two devices?
Does the Magni come with a line-output (RCA) jack, that you could connect to the Lepai?

just in case you missed it i posted pictures of all three units back.

but yes it does. now if I went that route does the volume of the headphone amp control that output?

It can but now the Magni feeds an active preamp signal into another active preamp circuit, as opposed to the Sys splitting the output with its volume set to max that just means it's not attenuating ie reducing the strength of the signal coming in as it comes out.

k. i will run the lapai off my onboard sound and switch devices in win10 if i need use speakers. I'm not in dire need of the sys yet. but yes I'll get the sys.

I've come up with a way to split.

lol
Modi hooked up to a aux to 3.5mm male jack hooked into a Y 3.5mm male jack to two 3.5mm female jacks. With the Y male connected to the lapai leaving the second Y female leading to a 3.5mm male jack to aux plugged into the HP amp.

Kinda funky.

Like to some way how have direct line from DAC Y'd off to the lepai and HP amp with strictly aux to aux rca cables.

When using the RCA line-output on the Magni, the Magni acts like pre-amp.
So the Magni's volume knob controls the strength of the signal coming out the line-output RCA jacks.

splitting like that, cuts the strength of the signal, better to just connect the Magni's RCA jacks to the Lepei.

You have no need of the Schiit Sys, connect the Magni to the Lepei.
