Hello to everyone in head-fi. I have been reading the forums for years, but never had the time to actually get involved until now

I am interested in getting a pair of a100ti's. Do you guys know whether it would be possible to get audio technica to retrieve a pair? or is anyone selling one? Also how much would they be used? I know they were ~300 on audiocubes but not sure about used priced. Those headphones are hot

Yea thats what i was i thinking, not a common headphone=/
If i can't find those, most likely itll be the a55 or the a500 if im poor, or the a900 or a9x if i actulaly have money. So we'll see....
Any recommendations? I know the a900 are highly recommended by many, but how bout the lower end 500 or the 700?

The A100ti is not widely available. I believe that there were only 2000 built worldwide, i have one. It has pretty good sound quality, but outclass by CD3K. I also had A1000 for awhile, and it has about 5 percents improvement from A100ti. Still, CD3k tops them all. "Yes" they are very well built, and hot looking!

I don't know what the hell to recommend anymore. I used to really like the A9X and then I got the W100 which I didn't like so much and then it was off to the A1000 which really wasn't a WOW headphone.

Well, I sold all of that stuff and now I have Eggo's which I absolutely love. I was listening to my friend's A9X's and... well, not the sound for me anymore.

I guess since I'd listened to nothing but AT's, the semi-neutral Eggo was a nice departure.

thanks everyone for the input. I searched for all past threads about AT's, but umm........there doesnt seem to be much at all on the lower end models. My budget right now is 150-200 which is why the w100s are outta my league=( DAM! Oh yea another question, for comfort, how long canu guys go wearing these headphones? I hear its pretty dam long. I am hoping for something where its so comfortable it'd be like 4-6 hrs straight where i can have em on

Evoz,
The A100ti has very good comfort. I would say better than the Senn HD580/HD600. However, A1000 is more comfortable. CD3K, although is the most comfortable phone I've own, but it tends to fall off my head.
