Hi all

Happy and blessed new year

I am considering a small affordable headphone amp for portable use. This leaves me with the Super Mini and I think the JMT amps??

Does anyone have opinions on this? If the cmoy or CHA 47(?) is cheaper than the super mini, is it worth still getting the super mini? Does it sound bette than the other two amps?

This would be good info for me cuz I want to make a purchase soon.

Sorry for rambling!! And thanks for the replies

Well, I have not heard a CHA47 or a Cmoy, so I can't really compare the sonic differences between them and a Supermini...

But I can back up the Supmini as a fantastic little amp! It makes me very glad to have a line out on my old PCDP, and it gives a little more bass impact and a good deal more clarity on the headphones I have tested it with. If you are considering the Supermini, there are some rumors and ramblings about some new upgrades for it... so you may want to keep your eyes peeled to fixup's website for updates (and rushing in before these updates might be a good or bad thing... I can't tell right now).

I have heard only good thungs about the super mini and I have seen on the sight that the updates are actually out, boasting an upgraded power supply section or the likes.

So I guess that that is the only choice I have then, so I will go forth and conquer. Not too soon though(end of month or so)
