my portable "setup" currently consists of little more than a 40gb 4g ipod and senn hd280's.. and to get one thing out of the way, i have no issues with walking around wearing enormous headphones (such as the hd280's) :O
the 280's don't exactly sound bad unamped, and i've read multiple threads that say an amp won't even really improve the 280's.. however, my primary concern isn't the 280's. i'm currently looking at the beyerdynamic DT770 pro/80's that i might pick up in the next month or two, and was wondering about an amp that would work well with those out of an ipod (wouldn't hurt if it also does something for the 280's though :O).. the amp needs to be really portable, basically nothing that won't fit in my pocket. my budget is ~150$.
thanks.
