Looking for a pair of in-ear headphones for an iPhone to play classical, jazz, and electro

I recently got a new iPhone 5S and am looking for an accurate sounding pair of in-ear headphones that would have some sense of volume and track control. I currently have a pair of Bose IE2s, which are starting to fall apart. I have some ALAC files on my iPhone, but most of it is just AAC files. I'd rather not go the portable amp route, not delegitimizing such, just simply that I don't always have to room to carry it and I'd rather make do with a good pair of in-ear headphones. I usually listen to classical, jazz, electro and sometimes j-pop. Any recommendations? 

I have been looking into Etymotic Research's HF3s, would such be my best bet?
