Looking for a pair of IEMs to use at the gym with good bass

  1. dasmoenator
I'm looking to spend about $60 and I'd really prefer if they have a button on the cord for skipping tracks. It's okay if the inline volume controls don't work. I'll be using a Galaxy S3. I mainly listen to house/EDM with a little bit of rap/hip-hop in between. So I'm definitely looking for something with good bass. At home I have a pair of DT 770s which are awesome, but I'm not expecting anything near that level (the closer the better). I've been looking all over and have found a few that seem to fit bill

Many people use the monster isports, and according to the internet they sound decent not the huge bass muddy sound, also water resistant and can be found under $100 i think on ebay, however I have never tried them so I cannot really comment on the quality and sound, the meelectronic m6's also come to mind

Shure 215 LE with foam tips -is my gym phones.

So far so good, durable enough, beside the markings coming off, still going strong after about 6 months of use.

I've heard great things about the 215s but they're a little out of my price range. As for the isports I know they have a ton of different versions. I found these http://www.amazon.com/electronics/dp/B006VJQ2OM which seem to be in my price range. But they seem to be priced below the entry level isports. These also came up http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-CX-680i-Sports-Headset/dp/B003WVA6P8/ref=sr_1_13?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1375042170&sr=1-13

I was thinking of maybe getting a pair not sport IEMs and just picking up some comply active tips. Any thoughts on that?

I would recommend you the JVC FX1X. Great bass, which certainly makes them ideal for listening to rap and hip hop music.
