No. Actually when I tested beats pro, it was like my music was playing in another room with the door closed. I was really disappointed. That's why I am asking for suggestions here. I just want a comfortable headphone like them without a disappointing sound.

Alright, back to subject. I have tried those MDR-1R personally, and found them to have good control in bass. balanced and detailed mids with highs that sound good to me. Soundstage are great considering it is a closed headphone. Might lacks speed though not saying it's slow...

Oh you might also look up the Koss MV1 - I keep forgetting to mention those. Cable isn't removable, but they isolate better than the TBSE and are livelier sounding (I like both for rock and metal though). I think both of them come with hardcases (I know the TBSE do, I don't know if the DJ100/DJ200 (which are again, basically the same headphone) come with hardcases though).
