Hello, I am currently using the £10 Phillips SHP2500 and want an upgrade for sound quality and comfort reasons.
I mainly listen to electronic music.
The headphones must be completely circumaural and I like deep earcups like on my existing phillips,
The headphones will mostly be used indoors but I need a closed back. I would like good noise isolation.
I would like to spend about £50, a maximum of about £60. I will be driving them with my motherboards built in audio, I will buy an amp if it is absolutely necessary as I am on a tight budget.
I was looking at the Audio Technica ATH T400 or Sennheiser HD 419/429 and was wondering if they were any good, I am flexible and am open to suggestions.
What headphones should I buy?
