Hi,
 
I am currently on the search for a pair of over ear headphones under ~$300 which would be mainly used for electronic music/ music that requires headphones that produce good bass. I already have the Audio-Technica ATH-AD700 headphones which would be used for other genres of music and the bass on it is minimal.

Sorry guys, I forgot to mention that I will be purchasing from Australia where prices are more expensive. From a US dollar budget it'd be around $250 or less

DT990 Pro should work!
Fidelio X1 should work as well.

The Beyer is bright (detailed with forward treble), while the Fidelio is darkish.

I guss the Beyer has the edge in terms of soundstage.
