Hi guys, this is my first thread, hope to don't make any mistake!
I'm looking for some advice to buy a new pair of headphone to use at home. it's been about two months that i'm trying headphones, so i guess it's time to ask for some advice.
I had the Audio Technica m30x, great headphones for the price, but I wanna to upgrade it, so that's what I'm trying to do for the past two months.
I first tryed the Audio Technica M50X they are good but the soundstage isn't just there and they are a bit bassy. So I step it up with the Audio Technica MSR7 and I really liked how they sound but I couldn't wear it for more than half an hour because I got hot spot on my head and on my ears. So i changed it up again with the Sennhesier HD 598, amazing soundstage and confort but the bass wasn't that great and it was a bit muddy and not accurate at all for me. So now I own the AKG K550 MkII and I'm again about to return it because for me personally it's too flat, the bass is a bit shy and the mids are more accentuate than the rest of the frequency wich for me it's not much fun to listen to. Other than that the fit is too lose for me.
So I'm back at the beginning and I don't know what to do. I have about 200€ to spend on a pair of headphones but I don't know which one, plus I live in Italy so some headphones may not be avaible here.
I also should mention that I'm looking for some headphone with max 50-100 ohms impedeance and high sensitivity because I don't have a very expensive dac and amp.
I'm using a Creative Sound Blaster SB1240.
I'd like some comfort headphones for long listening session, with a bit of punch in the low end but not too much and something very clean and enjoyable to listen to.
I also would like a close back headphone with a wide soundstage cause I don't live on my own. In case that's not avaiable as on option I may also look into some open back headphones.
Thank you for any help and sorry if I made any grammatical errors!
