Looking for a new DURABLE set of over-ears, crisp sound with a good bass range

I've been using in-ears when I'm out and about for years and I'm sick and tired of them breaking, been through countless sennheisers and not one set has last me past a year, even my my IE8s, which were fantastic when they worked, have now completely given up. I want to get a set of solid, portable over-ears that are going to last me a very, very long time. My taste in music is eclectic to say the least but when I'm on the move I usually listen to hip-hop, liquid dnb, IDM and dubstep so I'm after something that's deep and crisp.

Have you tried companies with better build quality and more standard replacable
Cables? My iems have lasted a good while
