Hey all,

I'm looking for a good (not to expansive) headphones amplifier to drive my Sennheiser HD600.

It may be fully valve (tube) operated, hybrid (I fancy these) or a fully blown DAC.
But what I really need is one with a remote control kit. Yes I'm that lazy to get out of bed… :p

Can somebody give me some input in what I should buy?

Thank you in advance!

Audio Gd makes amps with volume controls, but they are Solid state designs.

I was looking at this one earlier. Bit expensive, but if it's as good as they say (and from the reviews here) I think I can buy this one :)

My setup is my media center pc (unbalanced output) -> DAC -> Headphones

The NFB-6 is an amplifier only, no DAC feature.
So you might end up spend a few more dollars ($100?) for an external DAC.
