Hi All,

I'm looking to purchase a custom short IEM cable to connect my CIEMs (with IPX/T2 connectors) to my Fiio BTR3 (3.5mm out). Something like 10cm from the splitter to the jack. The ideal price would be under/around $100. Since I can only post here to start, here's where I'm posting!

I've tried contacting Null Audio since they have something in the right price bracket (https://www.null-audio.com/collecti...ethos-5n-cgocc-a-silver-plated-earphone-cable) with the right connectors, but it's too long. I haven't heard back from them. Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Hi @E221b,

I suggest trying veclan.com for a possible solution, they definitely make cables in the length you need & you can easily select it all yourself, plus said cables are good quality & most of all affordable.

Just as an aside, Null Audio don't have the quickest customer service nor is the ethos cable all that great to begin with.

Hope you have a great day !

So veclan.com looks great, except they don't have the IPX/T2 connector as an option. The only company that I've seen so far with that as an option for custom cables is Null Audio. This cable is going to go into a BT receiver so I have a feeling the quality will be good enough. I did get a hold of Null and they're building a short cable for me. If anyone else has ideas, the more resources I have the better. My IEMs have that IPX connector, so that limits my options unless I want to get into soldering, which I'm not so interested in.
