Hello all,
I'm still fairly new here.
I've had a pair of beyerdynamic dt 770 80 ohm for about 5 years now, in the last months i got an E11 amplifier for it and just recently picked up a pair of Ultrasone 900s. I thought the 770s were amazing but I LOVE the bass and soundstage of the 900s. Still though for some types of music/songs the mid can be too recessed and highs too sharp with the 900s and i use my 770s still.
I was wondering for the $500 range what is a very good balanced headphone to use?
On top of that what would be a good amp/DAC setup to accompany these headphones? Since I have an E11 would a dedicated DAC be a good addition?
Thanks all!!
