Look at what I found on my way home from work today. I found it crawling on the sidewalk. Its a little baby possum.

Thats a good question. I have no idea how it got on the sidewalk. No i'm not going to keep it. I'm gonna take it to the local wildlife rescue center tommorow.

Can possums have rabies? Mom didn’t just go out for coffee and leave it on the sidewalk. How about any of those other exotic diseases like the pet ground hogs had?

Yes they can have rabies but if this one did It would show atleast some type of agression which it is not. Plus I have been washing my hands very well after handling it.
