I do admire guys who had long hair back in the in 1970s and still have their hair long or at least on the long side. Guys like Neil Young, Greg Allman, Stever Howe, David Crosby, Gene Simmons, Willie Nelson, etc...

I think if they did cut their hair short, it would look kind of weird and they would end up looking like a school teacher so they keep their hair long and it looks normal even though it's old man hair.

Sometimes I see old guys with long grey hair and I think, maybe back in the 70s, they had long hair but they refuse to cut it because they've gotten so used to it. And if they did cut it, it would make them look like some old school teacher or school principal so they keep their hair long and it looks good in my opinion.

Lots of male artists have long hair so I secretly think long hair is artistic and classic.

So yeah, Gene Simmons as an example I mentioned in my earlier post still keeps his hair long. I mean there is no way he will ever cut it. It's part of his identity. Plus he's got great hair.
