Today received my new RSA Hornet amp from omegaman and already experienced a trouble. The amp works perfectly with my old iPod Photo 4g, but can't reach enough volume level at any gain switch position with my iPod Classic 120gb 6g.
I'm using AudioMinor LOD, bought here.
It seem to be the LOD problem, though maker says, it works with any iPod.
Should I try another LOD, or the problem is not in it?
And what LOD would definitely work with iPod Classic 120gb?

any lod should work with classic have you tried plugging the classic into a different amp ?

Are you using regular 9 volt or rechargeable one? Tr using a mini to mini if you have one or get one from radioshack ot make sure it is not the amp.

Sorry guys, seems my problem is much simplier than I thought - I just brought the amp from post office when I auditioned it. The temperature outside was around -5C. Now I tried again and everything works ok. Seems it's the temperature affected some interior of the amp.
