local meets?

Hello all,
I was wondering how i could find local gatherings here in orlando florida to meet people and try out audio equipment and share what i have?

Florida has a wonderfully active head-fi community. We just had a fairly large meet in Tampa last month, and will probably have another large one in Ft. Lauderdale in the Fall.

There is a meet forum on this site with a section for meet planning and one for meet impressions. You could always start a thread with Orlando in the title and see what kind of response you get. I know of at least a couple head-fiers up your direction. You might also check out the various meet impressions threads for past Florida meets. You'll get an idea of what you can expect.

If only Sydney, Australia had similar meets

. I haven't had the chance to audition a single head-fi item i've purchased. It's led to a little disappointment here and there.

You people are aware that there is a meet forum and an after meet discussion forum. Right

they have been a few meet in Sydney already. You can organise one or wait for the next one
