Great recording, spectacular performance(s)! Let my dad listen and his first reaction was "Damn, she's way better than Diana Krall!"

Cool stuff, I even enjoyed pieces I normally can't stand (I Can See Clearly Now, How Deep is the Ocean).

Not bad £3 off the 'Bay...

I heard this Telarc title was great....excellent performance by Minnelli and, of course, another excellent recording by Telarc. Recorded in the late 80s, I believe. Never got around to it though.

Maybe Telarc should consider remastering this title into a multi-channel SACD.

I'll bite. I saw it as a selection by one of the Absolute Sounds' critics as top reference recording. Not sure if it was the telarc release, though. Maybe, but something tells me it was more recently remastered.
