Give him some decent headphones guys... he's talking about headphones on behalf of a headphones company.

It looks like he's using something from EPOS/Sennheiser's Impact line of enterprise headsets. Those headsets are wonderfully-featured and can go as high as $439 USD. I currently use a Sennheiser Presence, which I am very happy with due to its outstanding beam-forming mics. But if I had the budget for an Impact headset, I'd totally get one.

Wearing HiFi headphones for a live stream discussion helps him or you how again? A voice-only, no music application doesn't require audiophile headphones without a mic.

He wasn’t using those during the stream... he was using a pair of HD 250BT, which was a pair he helped design. He found them an exciting product to work on, putting a very good driver and good sound into an inexpensive but durable package.

Jermo may have used a BizCom headset in another stream though. The reason would be due to the Microphone’s speech clarity so you guys could hear him clearly.

Can you tell what was announced in that Q&A yesterday. Can't find a recording.
Yes, sorry, there were technical difficulties getting YouTube to work, so the stream was done on Instagram and I don’t think it was archived. Lots of viewers though! Hopefully Sennheiser will be doing more of these, Jermo teased that he hopes to share some camera time with an engineer or two so that the community can get to see more of the people behind the Sennheiser products. Also, Eric and I are here 🤝

The discussion centered around the IE 300 in ear, questions about a few other products were answered, and there were also some more general educational moments where he showed the IE 300 driver and HD 800S ring driver on camera and explained things about their construction. Apparently, Jermo’s kitchen is pretty amazing. It ended up being a pretty fun stream, loved how everyone was curious and respectful!

Hope to see you and more people at the next stream, and we’ll work out a good streaming workflow.

Here is a much more specific, less corporate-speak summary of the livestream--better details, wider soundstage :)
