Hi,
In my office I currently use some Firestone DAC/PS/AMP combination which I really like. Anyway, I want to have some small speakers attached to my PC in addition now.
So I am looking for an "all in one" "little" "not to expensive" solution for this.
Full tube or at least hybrid prefered.
that has at least 2 inputs (both analog or 1 analog and 1 digital) ON THE BACK.
that has an easy accessable power switch (unlike the firestones - so not on the back
) and headphone jack.
that has an easy accessable input selector (like on the front).
that has a decent headphone circuit.
that can drive some small speakers.
that does not use too much space on my desk.
that mutes the speakers when a headphone is plugged in.
that costs < 1000$ .
You can see that one of my main concern is ergonomics here
. I do not want to push too may buttons or even recable when switchin from headphone listening to the speakers.
The only solution for this I found so far is the fatman iTube or one of its clones, but I hope there are some other choices.
Thank you.
